My name is Jennifer. I live in Western New York where I work at a Nature Center. In January of 2008, my boss told me about the 30-day Sit Spot Challenge issued by the Wilderness Awareness School. I accepted the challenge and it was quite rewarding.
I’m giving it another go this year! I hope I can keep my commitment!

Last year, I went to the same spot nearly every day. There were a couple of days when I didn’t have time and used another outdoor experience as a substitute for the actual Sit Spot.
